Full Itinerary

Day 1: Hanoi – Ba Be Lake (L, D)

7.00 am: Our guide and driver will pick you up at your hotel in Hanoi then take a drive on a 240-kilometer journey to Ba Be National Park. On the way, you will have several scheduled stops for lunch and visiting Tay ethnic minority community, the second largest ethnic group in Vietnam after the Kinh, and mostly living by rice cultivation.

Arriving in Ba Be National Park, you will start a boat trip along Nang River to discover Ba Be Lake, Puong Grotto, the rapids of the Dau Dang Waterfall. These poetic landscapes will bring you relaxing time with fresh air and green environment, so don’t forget your camera for nice photos.

After that, we will take a short walk visit Hua Ma cave, a huge grotto with thousands of stalactites. Hua Ma Cave is a huge cavern, situated 350m above sea level and reaching a depth of nearly 700 meters. The average ceiling height is 50m, and the width is 30-50m.

18.00 pm: Have a dinner, free time to relax and overnight in Ba Be.

Day 2: Ba Be Lake – Cao Bang – Ban Gioc Waterfall (B, L, D)

7.00 am: After breakfast, you'll depart to Trung Khanh that lies on the border with China. This you'll have the opportunity to meet the Nung individuals in the village of Phuoc Sen. The village famous for its traditional blacksmith handicraft. The farming tools made here are a necessary part of the lifestyle that's evident in the surrounding rice paddies fields.

Located in among these amazing landscapes is the spectacular Ban Gioc Waterfall. Which spans over 300 meters, half Vietnam and half of China. You'll have time to soak up the strong atmosphere of the drops and take some fantastic pictures. Before heading into another natural wonder of Nguom Ngao Cave. This cave stretches out 2,144 meters underground and is filled up with incredible stalactites and stalagmites.

Later afternoon, return to Cao Bang town for dinner and overnight here.

Day 3: Cao Bang – Hanoi (B, L)

It’s not hurried for this morning so you can take our breakfast a little bit late, enjoy the daily life of local citizens then back to Hanoi after that. It’s approximately 310 km from Cao Bang to Hanoi but it will not make us tired because of stopping at many rice fields or remote villages for relaxing or photo hunting.

Lunch will be at a restaurant then our driver will take you to your hotel in Hanoi. Trip ends.
